Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister’s Scheme for Wood Carving Artists: Eligibility, Benefits & Application Process

The scheme is aimed at empowering the local artisans and entrepreneurship as well as elevating the traditional wood carving to global levels.

Overview

Arunachal Pradesh has existed in a tradition of fine woodwork. Nonetheless, as the times have changed, and the exposure of the market to such practices remains scanty, this ancient art has been deteriorating.
